Littler Britain love to go and see the real deal on occasion and this was one of our class trips. After a hectic day shooting the Koopa Video for Stand up For England it was a quick dash up the M1 to Birmingham and a quicker change in a car park into Vicky and Emily to go and see David and Matt perform at Birmingham's NIA.

We arrived just in time to see Andy and Lou do their thing (told you it was a quick dash!) and we were then shown to our seats, as is beffitting two laydeez. The section of the crowd we were sitting in couldn't believe their eyes and kept craning to see who it was.

At half time, or the interval in non football parlence, we went outside for a drinky poo poo, and a ciggy to be confronted by a load of fans eager to have their pics taken with Emily and Vicky. We, of course, obliged, only happy to oblige the fans.

After the show, another blindin' effort boys, well done. We went to find David and Matt at the stage door, and somewhere as large as the NIA it's not that easy. We eventually were shwon the way to the gate they would be leaving by and waited about 30 mins.

Then David came out and was gracious enough to stop for us and have a brief chat before swishing off into the night. Thanks David we appreciated that.

Then came Matt who stopped for a tad longer, and exchanged some banter with us before wishing us well and again sped off into the Brummie evening.

We then retired to our no-expenses-spent car park changing facility to remove our outfits and get wolf whistled by passing fans.

Thanks again David and Matt, we're not stalking you honest, we just need to make sure we are us faithful in our reproduction of your characters as is humanly possible. We're definitely not Robert De Niro and Sandra Bernhardt in King of Comedy, nooo... Actually Gavin has bigger tits than Sandra, but, well enough of that...
