A great night, a great venue, and great people, all the ingredients we needed to entertain those who attended the recent Bar Mitzvah we performed at.
The Waldorf Hilton, or Hilton Waldorf, was absolutely gorgeous and sumptious and did we mention gorgeous? Fantastic, waiters, porters, bar staff, chefs, all immaculately turned out and some of the friendliest, most efficient concierges we've met. |
The gig started with us doing a meet and greet whilst people entered the main room, as usual we go down a storm and cause a bit of a bottle neck at the entrance, everyone wants a pic with Lou and Andy, and we oblige. The guests soon settled into their seats and we did a bit of mix and mingle through the tables to get people comfortable and relaxed, laughing and chuckling. Soon it was time for food to be served and we bowed out at this stage, allowing the inimitable Wobblers to take charge with announcements and soft mood music to eat by.
It was soon time for our reappearance and again, Vicky and Emily take the place by storm, everyone wants a photo and an autograph and another photo, and oh, and just one more photo. We help get the dancing started and distribute party favours, flashing mobile phones and glow sticks. And then it's all over for us and we leave the guests to have a high old time bopping away to the show that Wobblers puts on.
